I had the BEST day!!!!!!!!

Today after my fitting session we headed to New Glarus, Wi. I was super hungry so on the way we stopped at A&W in Monticello. Let me tell you, ever since the A&W in Freeport closed I crave those coney dogs on a regular basis! lol

So 1 coney dog and 1 root beer freeze later we continued on. I had received a tip from the wise guru flip floppin mamma that there is a Lands End outlet in New Glarus. And you know me...you say outlet, I say lets go.

I didn't find too much there (though there were lots of cute things) but I did get the hubby a pair of work slacks and an under shirt for under $5!!!!!

After that we walked to the park (just on the other side of this GORGEOUS church) and it was the neatest little park! We played there for quite a while. They had one of those cool slides thats made of the rollers, so we had to go down that upwards of 100 times!

Then we walked back through the down town (which was SO CUTE! The flip flopper said its beautiful at Christmas time and I sure believe it!), and we headed to the New Glarus bakery. I got an "oat bar" that was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!! It was like a two layer bar. The bottom was like an oatmeal cookie, and the top layer was chocolate fudge. Seriously, it was to die for!!!!!!

After my sugar fix we headed back and stopped at the Seventh Avenue outlet. And I found two pairs of pants and dress for $7 with my employee discount! And the pants fit perfect...its like they were made to fit me (oh wait...they were lol, which coincidentally is the best part of being a fit model!).

So then we stopped in Winslow and picked up some free water for our water machine and headed back home after a long day! But what a great day! Nothing better than beautiful weather, beautiful surroundings, great bargains, and chocolate!

And now I'm getting ready to head to my Weight Watchers meeting where I will conveniently forget to mention that Oat Bar to my leader! ;0)
