Its beginning to look a lot like Chistmas.....

We took full advantage of our "white out" yesterday by playing around in the snow and catching as many snowflakes on our tongues as we could!

But, I'm enlisting your help...we LOVE sledding, and in town there are no good sled hills! Back in the "olden" days (I use that term lightly cuz I'm NOT old!) we used to be able to go sledding next to what is now KFC/Long John Silvers (back then it was Wendys). Anyway, it was the BEST hill! Huge and steep, just like I like em! They stopped allowing kids to sled there because they said too many kids were getting hurt, and then they opened up a sled hill at Krape Park...WITH TREES! Ok, explain to me how thats not more dangerous? Anyhow, now we are resigned to going to one of the schools here in town, but the hill is still pretty lame...so if ANYONE knows of an AWESOME place to go sledding, PLEEEEEEAAAAAAAASSSSSSSEEEEEE tell me so we can go! I will TOTALLY travel outside city limits! ;0)

We used to go out to Lake-Le-Aqua-Na to sled, but haven't been there in years. We also used to sled at our old house, but of course that is not an option anymore. I will let you know if I think of anymore places.

This is always the case. If you're having fun somewhere, somebody decides you shouldn't.

This one is pretty far outside of city limits, but if you're ever in the area...
Mt. Carroll's Campbell Center (the old Shimer College) has awesome hills. The south side of the college is where you'll find them.. park in the Church of God parking lot... have fun!

I'm tellin' ya, girl, you've GOT to go to Lake Leaquana. It's the swimming area at the lake, and the hill is insane. Let me know when you go, and I'll come along with my video camera and shoot your last moments.
