Hanging with the girls...

So I'm WAY behind in my blogging but a few weeks ago, I got to hang out with some girlfriends and go to dinner and drink coffee and cruise the mall ALL without kids!!!!!!! It was WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!! Anywho, we went to Lino's for dinner, and for those of you who are not familiar with Lino's, it is THE most amazing Italian restaurant around here!!!!!!!

And the best part (my well kept secret...until now), if you go between 4:30 & 6, you can get the early bird specials! So, for LESS THAN $10...I ate chicken parmigiana with a side of alfredo, fresh bread with butter, salad, drink AND dessert!!!!!!!!!!! I know, amazing right?!?!?! Some of us MOPS girls are going to Rockford soon and I can't wait to take them to Lino's to try it out!

So after dinner we headed to the mall, which...I do NOT like the new set up! Anyone else? You gotta go indoors, then outdoors, its just, ugh! But, I do love a good window shop.

So after the mall we went to Starbucks...and I tried the Mint Mocha Chip drink, YUM sums that up. Now, I am not a coffee expert, and I HATE ordering at these places, because it almost feels like they're speaking another language. I mean, the girl in front of me took 10 minutes to order a dumb coffee! But when its worded like "Mocha nonfat decaf with foam to the 3rd power times the square root of caffeine........" Sheesh! I felt so unrefined! So, if any of you coffee experts know how to order like a pro, feel free to school me...I could use it! LOL
