I know I don't usually post book reviews but......

I just finished reading:

and I LOVED it!!!!!!!! I know that a lot of "religious" (I don't use that word as a compliment) leaders have ridiculed it but I thought it was great!!!
Its a mystery about a guy who's daughter is kidnapped and murdered, and because of that (and other heartaches in his life) he grows to hate God. Then God writes him a letter asking him to meet at the crime scene, and thats all I'm saying so as not to ruin anything ;0)
Now-a-day's christianity is too much about religion, and too little about relationship, and this book is exactly opposite! If any of you read it, I promise it will challenge your religious mindsets (but in a good way). And if you keep an open mind, I hope it will touch you as much as it did me! I certainly gave me a better understanding of the role God plays in tragedy ;0)

My friend Lota, who is a Baptist minister's wife, loved this book too. She said I should read it.

Hmmm, I'll check it out - thanks for the tip!

The Francine Rivers books that I just love are the "Mark of the Lion" series. The first book is called "A Voice in the Wind". My favorite Christian fiction book of all time.
