Fun at the apple orchard....

Last weekend we visited our local Apple Orchard, and we had a blast! The pony ride and petting zoo were a HUGE hit, but they weren't the show stopper........my boy, was all about the cider donuts (I share his sentiment!) This sums up his feelings on the donuts:

As a side note, I was really disappointed with the fact that you couldn't pick the amount of apples you wanted. We wanted to pick maybe 1/2 a dozen apples (just so Cai could have the experience), but at this orchard, you had to pay $30 for a big ole' bag and fill it. I wasn't paying $30 for 1/2 a dozen apples! lol

Next week we are going to "The Pumpkin Patch" in Caledonia.....they look like they are full of fun activities for the kiddos, and I'm excited to check it out! I'll let ya know how that goes.......hopefully we don't have to pick a bag of pumpkins! ;0P
