YIKES, where does the time go?!?!?!

Ok, so dear friends...I know I have been SO busy and not updated this in forever but because of my current working/moving status I'm going to try to update this as often as possible so you can keep up with me and the fam ;0)

So, we are in the process of moving...down to really the final push. The plan...move EVERYTHING that I can not live without this week and have a HUGE garage sale at the house with the rest of the crap on my next weekend off.

Which brings me to the next update...yes I am still doing the newborn hearing screens, BUT have also added Care Support to my busy schedule. Basically, care support is a fancy title for secretary lol, but I'm up in the OB unit.

Both are part time job with what is supposed to be very limited hours, BUT due to the fact that the other hearing screener quit and they are training me in the care support position, I am working full time right now. Which in and of itself feels crazy, but throw the move on top of that and you see why I haven't been around much lately.

This summer is shaping up to be quite mad! lol

We did get a chance for some R & R last week in Michigan. My sister and her wonderful family were generous enough to open their home to us and we got to stay with them last weekend. It was so nice! We went up for the just a few days, and the best part...we had no plans!!!!!! I hate when you take vacations and you need a vacation when you get back cuz its so crazy. This was just laid back and relaxing, it was awesome! The only real plan I had was to check out the Country Life Natural Foods store so I can start placing orders with my friend Rachel ;0)

They live in Zeeland, Mi. which is about 4 hours away and neighbors Holland. So we went to Lake Michigan which was nice...and COLD lol. And then they had a neat farmers market we went to. Other than that, we pretty much chilled. Oh, but I would be remiss if I didn't mention my two FAVORITE things about Michigan (other than seeing my family...that of course is number one)! Number one....CAPTAIN SUNDAE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can anyone say YUMMO?!?!?! Seriously, you will not find a better Turtle sundae, and believe me, I've checked! Although I encourage you all to do your own research ;0P
Number two....Hungry Howies pizza!!!!!!! They have flavored crust...you pick from like 10 different flavors, and its just AWESOME! On this occasion we tried the Garlic Herb crust and it was amazing! Tasted just like Garlic bread!!!

Cai had a BLAST! He loves going to see them, and my neice is the best little babysitter in the whole world! Anyway, uncle Tim's drums got a lot of use, and my neices "hainter" (hampster) was a welcome distraction. lol Oh, and Cai DEFINITELY wants a trampoline now! My nephew Jordan got to show him the ropes on this one, and he had a blast!!!!!

The funniest thing....Cai's newfound love for "beans." My sister is a healthy eater and though he loves to share her apples, on this trip, her raw green beans really took the cake! And since we got home Cai has asked for beans on several occasions! Which...if anyone knows where to find good green beans around here, please let me know! I've looked everywher e and the ones in the stores are nasty looking!

Well folks, thats all the time I have for this episode...join me next time for more updates on our crazy daisy life ;0)

PS-To all my MOPS & Knitting pals....we SO need to hang out after I get moved! I'm going through some serious girl time withdrawals! But thank you for still calling me and inviting me even so I NEVER seem to be able to come with you! ;0P lol
